Your home's entry door is more significant than you may think. It is the first threshold guests cross when they visit, which means it's one of the first opportunities for you to make a good impression. It's also one of the first lines of defense against the elements and unwanted guests. That's why it's important to balance aesthetics and durability.

At Seconds & Surplus, we are proud to help keep your family safe and also help you create a lasting impression with our impressive lineup of front doors for sale.

Fiberglass Front Doors for Sale

Fiberglass is a go-to choice for many homeowners selecting new house doors due to its durability, versatility, and convenience. Fiberglass doors offer superb insulation and protection from extreme weather and require very little maintenance.

You don't have to worry about fiberglass warping or cracking with fluctuating temperature and humidity levels.

Additionally, fiberglass entry doors come in many different styles to complement every home design. They're also easy to customize and make your own. So if you can't find the color you're looking for, buy a plain, primed door in your favorite style and bring your vision to life. Opt for bold colors or striking geometric lines for a uniquely modern feel.

Wood Exterior Doors for Sale

Wood front doors lend a warm and classic feel to any home and come in many different styles. As such, this type of door looks just as good on cottages and farmhouses as it does on beach homes and bungalows.

Whether you want a solid, wooden door with a minimalist feel, or something more ornate with a large glass insert, you can find it within our product line. Elevate your entryway even further with stunning double doors that swing open to greet your guests.

Iron Exterior Doors for Sale

Iron front doors have a distinctive look and feel that give you the best of both worlds when balancing aesthetics with safety. You can use these heavy-duty doors to create a strikingly modern feel by utilizing simple, sleek lines and symmetrical glass inserts or a more traditional feel by leaning heavily into ornamental details.

No matter what style you land on, homeowners appreciate the added safety and peace of mind that iron doors afford.

Right-Hand vs. Left-Hand Doors

When it comes to exterior front doors, there is no right or wrong side for the door handle to go on. It all comes down to personal preference. At Seconds & Surplus, we see the merit of both styles and provide plenty of right- and left-hand options to choose from.

Entry Doors for Every Style

We know how important it is to you – and your home's curb appeal – to create an attractive and cohesive image on the exterior of your home. That's why we're proud to carry front entry doors that complement every style of residence, including:

  • Craftsman homes
  • Farmhouse homes
  • Ranch homes
  • French country homes
  • Victorian homes
  • Barndominium homes
  • Colonial homes
  • Lodge homes
  • Contemporary homes

Whether you're updating your home or putting the finishing touches on a new construction, you'll find the perfect style of door to match your home's overall design and feel within our lineup.

How to Pick the Right Size

Knowing the right size door to get can help you drastically narrow down your options. At Seconds & Surplus, we carry all the most common door sizes and a few hard-to-find ones, including:

  • 2' 8" x 6' 8" (32 x 80 in.)
  • 2' 8" x 8' 0" (32 x 96 in.)
  • 3' 0" x 6' 8" (36 x 80 in.)
  • 3' 0" x 8' 0" (36 x 96 in.)
  • 5' 4" x 6' 8" (64 x 80 in.)
  • 6' 0" x 6' 8" (72 x 80 in.)

Depending on the type of door you’re replacing, you’ll want to measure your current door’s width and height at several places. To measure the height, measure from the floor to the bottom of the door jamb. For width, measure from one side of the door panel to the other. If you have double doors, measure across both doors. For sidelights, measure the width inside the jamb.

You will also want to note measurements of the thickness of the door jamb and the door itself, as well as the width and height of the structure including the door jamb framing. If you’re worried your current doors may be warped or uneven, take several measurements from different points of the door instead of just the center.
