Lighting
What can help set a mood, accent an area, or help you complete a task? The lighting fixtures you choose can do all that and more.
Some fixtures are simple and practical, others are works of art. When it comes to lighting, consider how you want to illuminate the area. Will you need Task, Ambient, or Accent lighting?
Task lighting is used to illuminate an area for a specific task such as cooking, studying, or drawing. Examples of Task lighting are desk lamps, track lighting, pre-lit art desks, bath vanity/make-up table lights and various kitchen lighting options (vent lights, overhead lights,etc.).
Ambient lighting is used for lighting a general area. Examples of Ambient lighting are dining area lights (chandeliers, etc.) torcheries, shaded lamps, various sconces, and pendants.
Accent lighting is used to throw light on a specific object or point. Examples of Accent lighting are picture/art lights, spot lights etc.
No matter how you choose to illuminate your home, Seconds and Surplus has solutions for your indoor or outdoor lighting needs. Our friendly and knowledgeable sales associates will be delighted to assist you with any questions you may have regarding your lighting needs.
